Amidst a worldwide pandemic and a tumultuous political climate that simultaneously crippled society of its normal faculties, a yearning for peace was paramount. Many started new hobbies, some delved deeper into the blackhole of internet soap-boxing and others just binged a whole lot of Netflix. For us it was a road back to what we loved the most: music.
Navigated by unbridled passion and the desire to use our talents accordingly, each one of us was drawn to the rhythm in our hearts that defiantly wanted to turn back the clock and use this moment in time to pay tribute to something that has always defined our lives. That irreverent heartbeat brought us together from different city skylines and different junctures of life to where we are today.
Based out of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida our band started off from a text message.
“Are you interested in playing music again?”
What a question!?
It was akin to “Would you like to breathe again?”
There were trials and tribulations. Obstacles and life occurrences to work through, but we remained steadfast with our valiant optimism. What started off as a fun project to pass the time evolved into something tangible—a melodic personification of identity to accompany that rhythm in our hearts. We became a band!
The synergy of our newly formed quintet gravitated to the roots of our adolescence: melodic pop-punk and rock & roll with the repertoire of all the songs from all the artists we grew up with. Not solely a cover band; a musical outfit that plays the soundtrack to your lives.
